He used to play with two popular south american groups in Cuenca, Ecuador. In time his interest grew in andean music together with his aptitude in stringed instruments. Angel moved to New York City, where for the last 15 years he is in charge of one of the most populars groups in the area, he has an background in arranging, engineering and producing. Angel was in charge of the musical production of the CD rascacielos y Balcones dedicated to his City Cuenca for the 450 anniversary in April 2007
